Synect’s Evenflow Earns High Marks from Passengers and Press
Updated: May 5
The reviews are in, and Evenflow Crowd Radar is a smashing success. Evenflow is a crowd-density monitoring system from Synect, which is built on our ReadySeeGo® digital signage platform.
It uses high-resolution Lidar* tracking to display real-time visual information to gently encourage social distancing amongst passengers.
This world-first spatial awareness system was officially launched during a press conference at the Orlando International Airport (MCO) last week. Since the launch, the coverage of the solution has been phenomenal, with both the press and passengers praising the product.

News 6 reports: “The Orlando International Airport is not taking chances this holiday season. OIA is taking part in a new pilot program that measures crowds to help stop the spread of COVID-19.”
WFTV Channel 9 writes: “Flying during the pandemic still has some people a little uneasy but Orlando International is testing new technology to ease that anxiety.”
Fox 35 Orlando reports: “The Orlando International Airport is the first airport in the world to get new crowd-flow radar technology. The radar system, called Evenflow Crowd Radar, uses different colors from green to red to let you know how busy your gate is. They measure the number of people at gates to encourage passengers to properly social distance.”
Passengers shared their thoughts on MCO’s social media pages, with passengers sharing sentiments including: “I really appreciated this when I was flying home earlier this month!” and “We saw these yesterday and loved them! Great idea!!”
